What kind of animals do you provide care for?
All animals including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters, birds, etc. If you have rare or exotic pets requiring care, we would be happy to look after them, as well!
Are you licensed, insured, and certified?
We are licensed in the state of Michigan and insured for liability, including care, custody, and control of the pet through X insurer. Robert is certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.
Can you provide references?
We can provide references upon request - please also refer to our testimonials page.
What is your cancellation policy?
Clients get a full refund if they cancel by noon 3 days before the stay starts. After that, 50% of the service will be refunded on the first 7 cancelled days and 100% refund on any days after that. If the sitter shows up to do the visit and it is canceled, the original charge for the visit stands. A fee of 50% of the services booked will be applied if visits are cancelled within 2 weeks of major holidays.
What types of payment do you accept?
Services can be booked directly through our site. We also accept cash or check.
Do you offer a referral discount?
If you appreciate and see the value in our services, please feel free to refer us to friends and family. We will show our gratitude by offering you a FREE pet sitting or dog walking visit!
How often will you provide updates while we're away?
We can provide as many updates as you'd like! Some pet owners like occasional updates, while others prefer frequent communication - whichever you prefer, we will meet your standard!
Do you offer training for dogs?
We offer simple leash training, but for a more in-depth approach, we partner with local business, Third Coast Canine Academy, who offers basic and advanced obedience training, off-leash training, and board-and-trains.
What care information do you need prior to overnight stays?
Medications, feeding schedules, walking schedules, how to get in, and any other special items to note.
Do you administer medication to pets?
Yes. Vet prescribed medication can be administered including pills, drops, and injections. Medications that may pose a risk to the pet sitter will not be administered.
What do you do in case of an emergency?
In the case of an emergency with your pet, we will promptly contact your vet and transport them to the proper facility, if necessary. We will then reach out to you with the contact information you provided for such occurrences. If there is ever an emergency with your home, we will call you, additional emergency contacts you provide, authorities, and/or a preferred repair service.
